on a break from competition: yoga and Pilates with her husband, riding lessons, massages, IVs and Epsom baths, and therapy that never stopped.
biles hasn’t competed since Paris and calls LA28 “fifty-fifty.” Her days now are built around movement for fun, recovery and family, from her interviews with EL PAÍS, CNN, PEOPLE and Elite Daily.

her main workout besides Pilates: riding lessons at stables next to her house, usually early in the morning. Ice skating lessons are next, since the rink is three minutes away.

- With her husbandYoga and Pilates, not for performance
she does yoga and Pilates “so I can say I’m doing a little movement.” Her husband takes her to Pilates, which she calls “very hard, pure pain and effort.”

therapy got her through the twisties in Tokyo and she has kept going: “I’m still currently in therapy.” Her mental health is one of the key factors in whether she competes at LA28.
